Education & Experience

I graduated with a Masters in Social Work (MSW) in 2013, through the school of Social Work at Eastern Washington University in Spokane. I obtained my License Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW) through the State of Washington in 2018. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Prior to private practice, I worked in the field of Child Welfare working with children and families in diverse populations. Afterwards, I worked as a clinical social worker in a hospital setting in the NICU, labor and deliver, and post-partum. Working at the hospital pried my eyes open to the difficulties that can occur in pre, during, and post-pregnancy. One specialty, I currently offer is support for bereaved parents and the lack of this type of specialized mental health service.

Once I entered private practice, I began working with individuals and couples age 18 and up. My practice is based on the foundation of attachment science and learning about how your attachment style has been maintained, changed, etc. into adulthood.

I am currently working on obtaining my Level I and Level II certification through the Gottman Institute as well as becoming certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
